* ಮೊದ್ಲೆಲ್ಲ ನಾನು 'single', ಅಂತ ಬೇಜಾರ್ ಆಗ್ತಾ ಇತ್ತು. ಈಗ 'engaged' ಆದ್ರೂ ದೂರ ಇರಕ್ಕಲ ಹೇಳಿ ಬೇಜಾರು :-(

* ಸುಮಾರು ಜನಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಒಪ್ಪಿದ್ದು ಮನೆಯವ್ರು ನೋಡಿದ್ ಹುಡ್ಗಿ ಹೇಳಿ ಬರ್ತಿ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯ ಆತಡ. ಒಳ್ಳೆ ಕತೆ ಆತು. ಹುಡ್ಗಿ ಮನ್ಸಿಗೆ ಹಿಡ್ಸದು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅಲ್ದಾ? ನಂಗಂತೂ ಸದ್ಯ ಬಾಳ ಒಳ್ಳೆ ನಿರ್ದಾರ ತಗಂಡಿ ಅಂತ ಅನ್ಸ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದು.

* ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಚಳಿಗಾಲ. ಹೆಚ್ಗೆ ಎಂತು ಆಟ ಎಲ್ಲ ಇಲ್ಲೆ. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಗೋಲ್ಫ್ ಆಡಕ್ಕೆ ಶುರು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಿ. ಒಳ್ಳೆ ಮಜಾ ಆಗ್ತು. ಹೋಗಿ ಸಮಾ ಬಾರ್ಸದು, ಚೆಂಡಿಗೆ. ಯಾರ್ ಮೇಲಾರು ಸಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ರೆ ಈ ಆಟ ನಿಂಗ ಆಡಕ್ಕು.

* ಸುಮಾರು ಜನ ಕೇಳ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದ, "ನೀನು ಬ್ಲಾಗ್ ಬರ್ಯದು ಬಿಟ್ ಬಿಟ್ಯ?" ಹೇಳ್ಕೊತ. ನಾನು ಜನ ಒದಕ್ಕು ಹೇಳಿ ಬ್ಲಾಗ್ ಬರದ್ದು ಯಾವಾಗ ಹೇಳಿ? ಮೊದ್ಲೇ ಮನ್ಸ್ ಬಂದ್ ಗಿರಾಕಿ. ಎಂತಾರು ಬರ್ಯಕ್ಕು ಅನ್ಸಿರೆ ಬರ್ಯದಪ. ನೋಡನ, ಯಾವತ್ತಾರು ಒಂದ್ ದಿವ್ಸ ನಾನು ಸುಮಾರು ಉದ್ದ ಕಥೆ ಕವನ ಬರಿತ್ನೇನ, ಯಾರಿಗ್ ಗೊತಿದು.

* ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇಸಿಗೆ ಕಳೆದು ಹೋಗ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದು. ಸುಮಾರಷ್ಟು ಜಾಗ ನೋಡದು ಬಾಕಿ ಉಳದ್ದು, ಬೇಗ ಬೇಗ ನೋಡಕ್ಕು.
* ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಬರಕ್ಕು.
* ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 09 ನೆ ತಾರೀಕು, ಬೇ ಏರಿಯ ಕನ್ನಡ ಬ್ಲಾಗ್ಗರ್ಸ್ ಮೀಟ್ ಇತ್ತು. ಸುಮಾರು ಜನ ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರಿಯೋರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ಬೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಖುಷಿ ಆತು.
* ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಕೆಲಸ ಕಡಮೆ ಇದ್ದು, ಅದೇ ಹೆಳೆಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು ಈಜು ಹೊಡಿಯದು, ಗರಡಿ ಮನೆ ಕಸರತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲ ಮಾಡಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಯ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದು.
* ಮೊನ್ನಿತ್ಲಗೆ ಯೋಸೆಮಿತೆ ಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ "Half Dome" ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಬಂಡೆ ಹತ್ತಿಳ್ದು ಬಂದಿ (ಎರಡನೇ ಸಲ)
* ಇಷ್ಟು ದಿನ ಆಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ವಾಲಿಬಾಲ್ ಆಟ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಚೆನಾಗೈದು.
* ಗೆಳೆಯ ಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ಮದ್ವೆ ಆಗ್ತ ಇದ್ದ, ಅದು ಇದು ಹೇಳಿ ನಂಗು ತಲೆ ಕೆಡಸಿ ನನ್ನೂ ಮದ್ವೆ ಮಾಡ್ಕ್ಯ, ವರ್ಷಾತು ಹೇಳಿ ನಂಬ್ಸಿದ್ದ.. ನೋಡಕ್ಕು ಎಂತ ಕತೆ ಹೇಳಿ.

* congrats to union city volleyball team for winning KKNC volleyball championship'09.
* florida trip - i could sit in the rocket, went and touched bottom of the sea (scuba diving), etc.. it was nice trip..
* small hike in black mountain with kiran.
* big hike in mount whitney - used ice axe, crampons etc. it was a hell of an experience.
* wimbledon starting soon - waiting to see the matches..
* half-dome hike pending - want to do a 16miles day hike some weekends..
* missed a opportunity to meet bay area kannada bloggers this saturday.

* election news is still the top one priority in my news feeds, and net to net opinion is that, media sucks, and democracy is surely not doing good in India.

* after all the hungama, jaagore etc, sadly voting turnout is so less that I am not sure we will be electing the eligible candidates, and party into power.

* after one year of being in US, visited east coast finally.. though I am not a big fan of formal education, visited Harvard when i was there.

* as usual busy with work, but finally decided weekends are very important in summer, and trying to keep them occupied.

* LTTE is almost finished.. sad that civilians are getting killed, but well, is there any other option?? i think, no. (well, LTTE could have surrendered)

* US foreign policies still amazes me, they want to fight taliban etc, but still fund pakistan, and drops its expired bombs on afghan civilians and kills them :O

* Sad that India's close Nepal is falling apart, and becoming closer to sino land..

* Economic situation has shown that even America can be socialist country, and everyone thinks for them self. Free trade is a good idea (to developed nations) when things are fine, and when things are not working in its direction, it will be just the trade which is important. nothing free in it..

* i decided that next year i want to change my social status, from single to next level, officially.

ಹೌದು ಮತ್ತೆ.. ಕೆಲ್ಸ ಕೆಲ್ಸ ಹೇಳ್ಕ್ಯೋತ ಬರ್ಯದೆ ಬಿಟ್ಬಿಟ್ರೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ವರ್ಷ ಆದ್ಮೇಲೆ ಬರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಪುರ್ಸೋತ್ತಿದ್ರೂ ಬರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬತಲೆ. ಅದ್ರಗೂ ನನ್ ತರ ಮೈಗಳ್ರಿಗೆ, ಮೊದ್ಲೆ ಬರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬತಲೆ, ಬಿಟ್ರೆ ಅಕ್ಷರವೂ ಮರ್ತು ಹೋಗ್ತು ಅಷ್ಟೆ.

ಬರ್ಯದು ಎಷ್ಟು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಈಗಿನ್ ಕಾಲ್ದಗೆ ಅಂದ್ರೆ, ಒಳ್ಳೊಳ್ಳೆ ಬ್ಲಾಗು, ಲೇಖನ ಬರ್ದ್ರೆ ನಂ ಹುಡ್ರು ಪುಲ್ ಪಾಪುಲರ್ ಆಗೋಗ್ತ. ಹಂಗೆ ಇದೊಂತರ ಸಮಾನ ಮನಸ್ಕರ ಬಳಗ ಹುಟ್ಟಾಕ್ಕಕ್ಕೂ ಉಪಯೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಬತ್ತು. ಅದೊಂದೇ ಅಲ್ಲ.. ಈ ಇಂಟರ್ನೆಟ್ ಯುಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ದೊಂದು ಬ್ಲಾಗ್ ಇಲ್ಲೇ ಅಂದ್ರೆ, ಆರ್ಕುಟ್/ಫೇಸ್ ಬುಕ್ ಅಕೌಂಟ್ ಇಲ್ಲೇ ಅಂದ್ರೆ, IM ನಲ್ಲಿ (may be yahoo, gtalk, AIM, irc, jabber, msn etc) ಲಾಗಿನ್ ಆಗಿರ್ದೆ ಹೋದ್ರೆ ಬದ್ಕಿದ್ದೆ ಸುಳ್ಳೆನ ಅಂತ ಆಗೋಗ್ತು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸುಮ್ನೆ ಬಿಟ್ಬಿಡ್ಲಾಗ ಹೇಳಿ ಈ ಪೋಸ್ಟು.

* ಅಮೆರಿಕಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷ ಕಳತ್ತು.
* ಜನವರಿಲಿ ಊರಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿಬಂದು ಒಳ್ಳೆ ಖುಷಿ ಆತು, ಒಳ್ಳೆ ಅರಾಮಾಗಿ ರಜ ಕಳತ್ತು. ಸರಿ ತಿಂದಿದ್ದೆ ತಿಂದಿದ್ದು.. ಅನಿಲ (ಅಶ್ವಥ್ ಮಾವನ ಮಗ) ಬೇರೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆ ಜೊತೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದ, ತಿರ್ಗಾಡಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಿ ಆಗಿತ್ತು.
* ಕಾನೂರು ಕೋಟೆ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದು ಒಳ್ಳೆ ಅನುಬವ, ಮಜಾ ಇತ್ತು.

* ನಮ್ ಕಂಪನಿ ನಮ್ ಬಾಸ್ ಮನೆ ರೂಮ್ ಇಂದ (400 sq ft), ಸುಮಾರೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಜಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂತು. ಸದ್ಯ ನಂಗ 7 ಜನಕ್ಕೆ 3500 sq. ft ಜಾಗ ಸುಮಾರೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಆದ್ರೂ, ಒಂದು ಟಿ ಟಿ ಬೋರ್ಡ್, ಒಂದು ಪೂಲ್ ಬೋರ್ಡ್ ತಂದು ಇಡ ಅಂದಾಜಿದ್ದು. ಆಡಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾವಾಗ ಪುರ್ಸೊತ್ತಾಗ್ತ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲೆ.
* ಆಪೀಸು ಬದ್ಲಾತು ಅಂದ್ರೆ ನನಗೆ ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕೋತ ಆಗ್ತು, ಎ೦ತೂ ಮಾಡಹಂಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲೆ. कुछ पाने के लिए कुछ कोना पड़ता हे।
* ಹೊಸ ಗೂಗಲ್ ಫೋನ್ ತಗಂಡಿದ್ದು ಒಳ್ಳೆ ಉಪಯೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಬತಾ ಇದ್ದು.

ದಿನ ಕಳ್ದಿದ್ದೆ ಗೊತಾಗ್ತಾ ಇಲ್ಲೆ. ಎಂತಾರು ಬರಿಯಕ್ಕು ಮಾಡ್ಕ್ಯಳದೆ ಸೈ, ಆಗ್ತೆ ಇಲ್ಲೆ.

Been to Metallica concert @ Fresno. It was a great experience. One of my favorite bands. Enjoyed the show.

Watched the movie "Slumdog Millionaire" today @ Santana Row, SanJose. Quite well directed. Nice movie.

No volleyball, tennis or badminton this weekend, quite a lazy week in that aspect, i should admit.

ಕೊನೆಕೊಯ್ಲು season back home.. as usual, the problem of workers this year too..

Markets are varying based on predictions on Auto maker's bailout.. personally, I feel, these people will never learn even if you pay their debts.

The heat of terrorism seems to have reduced, both in media, and in people's mind (i guess).. As usual, people are moving on with daily life.

Nov 20th, ನನ್ನ ಗೆಳೆಯ ನಾಗರಾಜ (aka, ರಾಜು), ಮತ್ತು ಗೆಳತಿ ಮಹಿಮಾಳ ಮದುವೆ ಇತ್ತು.. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು 'conference' ಇದ್ದಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೋಗಲಿಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.. ಆದರೆ ಮನಸೆಲ್ಲ ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಇತ್ತು. ನನ್ನ ಒರೆಗೆಯ ಬಹುತೇಕ ಗೆಳೆಯರು ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಿದ್ದು ಇನ್ನೂ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಬೇಜರಾಗಲು ಕಾರಣ. ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರ ವೈವಾಹಿಕ ಜೀವನ ಸುಖಕರವಾಗಿರಲಿ ಎ೦ಬ ನನ್ನ ಹಾರೈಕೆ ಇದ್ದೆ ಇದೆ.

Nov 30th, ಒಂದೇ ದಿನ ನನ್ನ ಶಾಲಾ ಜೀವನದ ಗೆಳೆಯರಾದ ಶಶಿದರ (aka, MB) (with Vinuta) ಮತ್ತು ಅಮಿತ್ ರಾಜ್ (with Aditi) ಇಬ್ಬರ ಮದುವೆ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಹಾಗೂ ನನ್ನ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಮಿತ್ರರಾದ ಸುನಿಲ್ ಅಭಿಲಾಶ್ ಹಾಗು ಮದುಮಾಲ ಇವರ ಮದುವೆ ಕೂಡ ಇತ್ತು. ಇವೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಬೇಜಾರಿದೆ. ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ವೈವಾಹಿಕ ಜೀವನದ ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳು.

Lot more pending to write about mumbai blasts.. but my feeds bring 100s of different posts every hour or two about the same.. currently busy reading them.. overall its very sad thing which happened. I mourn for the families of victims, police, army personnel.

I hate those politicians who wanted to make politics out of national security issue. I hate those who make money out of public money, and don't even provide our police with proper gear.
